Modi Cabinet News: Modi cabinet has approved PM Modi’s decision to withdraw the agriculture law. The Bill to withdraw all three agricultural laws has been approved in the meeting of the Union Cabinet on Wednesday. After this these bills will be introduced in the upcoming session of Parliament.

PM Modi announced
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the government’s intention to withdraw the laws in the national interest on the occasion of Guru Purnima last Friday. The winter session of Parliament is starting from November 29. Addressing the nation on Friday morning on Guru Nanak Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that three agricultural laws were for the benefit of farmers, but “we could not persuade a section of farmers despite best efforts”. Along with this, he had announced the repeal of all three agricultural laws.
Demand to make law on MSP
Welcoming PM Modi’s announcement to withdraw all three agricultural laws, farmer leaders said that this effort will not be completed until action is taken on this announcement in the House. “This will not solve the problems of our farmers. Our agitation for MSP is on and will continue. After this statement of the farmer leaders, it seems that the problems are not going to reduce for the central government.

Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has also made it clear that the agitation will not be withdrawn immediately. “We will wait for the day when agricultural laws will be repealed in Parliament. Along with MSP, the government should also discuss other issues of farmers.
