The deadline expired last Saturday, yet Gyanesh Kumar remains in his post. The Cockroach Janata Party is launching a protest today to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The protest will begin in Mumbai. In response, the BJP stated that they are unconcerned by whatever actions people take.

Two months ago, their protest against the NEET question paper leak scandal caused a stir across the country, including at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. That movement had spread nationwide. The protest faced repeated obstructions…

Even so, the Modi government was eventually forced to back down under the pressure of that movement. Dharmendra Pradhan had to be removed from the post of Education Minister. ‘General Ji’s’ Cockroach Janata Party is taking to the streets again this Friday, on Gandhi Jayanti. They are now protesting to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over allegations of a lack of transparency in elections.

The protest will start in Mumbai. Abhijit Deepak, founder of the Cockroach Janata Party, stated, “Gyanesh Kumar is the country’s biggest traitor. We want his resignation. Our nationwide protest is set to begin tomorrow (Friday).” He added, “It will start in Mumbai. This is a movement to save the country’s democracy. Our first demand is that criminal charges be filed against Gyanesh Kumar. We want him investigated. The SIR list should be frozen.

Voting should be based on the 2025 voter list. If voting takes place based on the SIR, Modi-ji could win an election even in America. Our third demand is that the selection process for the Election Commission be completely impartial.” In response, State BJP leader Debjit Sarkar said, “Let them do as they please. We shall see. This time, people will be angry with them. They have endured great oppression. There is a limit to spreading anarchy.” A report by *The Indian Express* stated that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar disregarded the views expressed by the other two Election Commissioners, Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, regarding various issues concerning the SIR.

This report was published on Wednesday, September 23. Subsequently, Abhijit Deep, the founder of the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP), posted on social media that if Gyanesh Kumar did not resign by Saturday, the CJP would launch a nationwide protest campaign starting from Mumbai on October 2, extending it to various cities across India.

The 48-hour deadline expired last Saturday. Gyanesh Kumar remains in his post. Against this backdrop, the Cockroach Janata Party has taken to the streets again today. CJP spokesperson Saurabh Das said, “He (Gyanesh Kumar) is a traitor to the nation, ‘Enemy Number One.’ He is a true anti-national. We will ensure that he is removed from office and that all his wrongdoings are rectified.”

However, on Friday, the Mumbai Police denied the Cockroach Janata Party permission to stage a protest at Shivaji Park.
