World Famous Archaeology Discovery : Archaeologist Discovers Skeletal Remains Of 30 Feet Long Duck Billed Dinosaur
Archaeologists in Missouri, USA have discovered the skeletal remains of a juvenile duck-billed dinosaur at an undisclosed location. This discovery has been dubbed ‘world famous’. Paleontologist Guy Darrow and his team have unearthed the skeleton of a pterosaurus missouriensis. According to local media, the location will be kept secret until the remains are fully secured.
Darrow said the estimated size of a duck-billed dinosaur was about 25-30 feet long. According to the state website of Missouri, it is considered the official dinosaur of the state. He said that I cannot imagine anything more impressive than the remains discovered here. A new species of species, this is a world famous discovery.
Remains of another dinosaur found at the site
The unearthed remains were already sent to the Saint Genevieve Museum Learning Center. After that a curator from a field museum arrived at the site along with other researchers. They found an adult Parrosaurus Missouriensis right next to the juvenile. Pete Makowicki, curator of dinosaurs at the Field Museum, told KTVI that this is the best dinosaur site east of the Great Plains.
The excavation site was home to four rare dinosaurs
Abigail Kern, the learning center’s office manager, told Newsweek that while the adult specimen is being moved to the Field Museum in Chicago, the juvenile skeleton will be on display in the Saint Genevieve Museum Learning Center’s laboratory. The Missouri excavation site is said to be home to at least four rare dinosaurs. According to a CNN report, the first signs of dinosaurs in the state were found on a family’s private property in the 1940s when they were digging a well.
