Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested a man dealing in MDMA’s XTC pills in Andheri. The detainee was identified as Diba Oliver, a Cameroonian national. Importantly, the arrested person is a professor in Dubai and working as a drug peddler in India, according to the NCB. & Nbsp;
Drug peddler work for money
Sameer Wankhede of NCB He said Oliver had initially come to India on a medical visa. He came to Mumbai for treatment as he was suffering from tuberculosis. In the meantime, he needed money. At the same time, he met a drug peddler. Oliver started working as a drug peddler for the sake of the commission.
Seized 20 MDMA from the accused
According to the NCB, 20 MDMA was seized from the accused who is a professor in Dubai. After receiving the order of drugs, he would order the drugs from his source and deliver them by auto or taxi. Another drug peddler named Mohammad Imran Ansari has been arrested along with the accused. After the NCB went to Ansari’s house, Ansari threw his drugs down the window. The NCB seized Rs 9 lakh from Ansari’s house during the operation. A day earlier, the NCB had arrested Sarfaraz Qureshi, a youth from Agripada, along with 165 grams of MD in another case. A search of the accused’s house turned up cash worth Rs 2.15 lakh. This amount has been confiscated by NCB. & Nbsp;
