After the incident, the father-in-law remained present on the spot and kept saying- ‘I am not afraid of the police.’ Here, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and arrested the father-in-law. At the same time, the injured woman was admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment, from where she was referred to Bhopal.

According to the information received, the incident happened on Tuesday. The accused father-in-law Kailash Narayan Chaturvedi (80 years) is the priest of the temple inside the fort of Vidisha. It is said that a few days ago there was a dispute with daughter-in-law Seema regarding the platform of father-in-law. It is said that the father-in-law had trouble with the daughter-in-law from the beginning because even after marriage, Seema used to study and do a job. Due to this, Kailash Narayan used to be angry and there was a dispute on some or the other day.

When the daughter-in-law Seema tried to stop the sword in defense, both the wrists were completely cut and the hands hanged. Hearing his scream, a crowd of people gathered around. The daughter-in-law was brought to the district hospital in a critical condition. At the same time, Seema was referred to Bhopal due to her critical condition. The police has arrested the accused Kailash Narayan Chaturvedi.
