US health officials investigating effects of pfizer and moderna vaccines
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that although it is not clear whether there have been cases of inflammation caused by the vaccine, the cases are also very few. The CDC is urging everyone over the age of 12 to get the vaccine in the United States.
As of May 31, the agency had received more than 275 preliminary reports of this type of inflammation in people between the ages of 16 and 24, a CDC official said Thursday. These cases were reported from among the 1.2 million people who had taken the second dose of vaccines. The official said that such cases have mostly been reported in men and youth and most of the people have been cured.
