UK economic growth slower than expected in July
The UK government could not completely lift the restrictions due to fears of a re-infection of Kovid-19.
The UK economy grew at 0.1 per cent in August, compared to one per cent in the previous month. Economists had estimated that the domestic economic growth rate would be 0.5 percent.
There was also a shortage of staff in July, as thousands of workers were forced to live in isolation due to contact with a person infected with Kovid-19.
