Tourist guides affected by the economic crisis generated by the Covid-19 pandemic may compete to obtain a 5,000 soles subsidy, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism indicated today.
For this, he indicated that today Ministerial Resolution No. 186-2021-Mincetur was published, approving the Strategy “Guiding tourism to reactivation”, with a budget of 30 million soles to grant the referred subsidy to 6,000 tourist guides, through the public contest “Design your tourist experience”.
The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), Roberto Sánchez, highlighted the effort of his sector.
“This strategy will provide the opportunity for participation to all tourism guides registered in the National Directory of Qualified Tourism Service Providers of the Mincetur, without exception, in order to diversify the offer of tourism products nationwide through their proposals” he explained.
According to DU No. 096-2021 Mincetur, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism is in charge of planning, implementing, monitoring and monitoring the strategy “Guiding tourism to reactivation.”
