Taliban vs Turkey: Afghan Taliban Warn Turkey Foreign Forces In Afghanistan Will Be Treated Like Usurpers
- Taliban, which has occupied most of Afghanistan, threatens Turkey
- Taliban rejects Turkey’s intention to take over security of Kabul airport
- Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen said that we consider any foreign army to be usurper
The Taliban militants, who have occupied most of Afghanistan, have strongly threatened Turkey. The Taliban rejected Turkey’s intention to take over the security of Kabul airport. He said that Turkish President Erdogan has announced this at the behest of the US which will harm the bilateral relations between us and Turkey. The Taliban said that we consider any foreign army a usurper.
Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen said Turkey’s decision to deploy troops to Kabul airport was a “small step”. Shaheen said, ‘This decision is against our country, national sovereignty and territorial security.’ The Taliban spokesman sternly advised the Turkish administration to reverse its decision. He said that the presence of foreign forces in any country for any purpose would be considered as aggression.
Turkey and America sign agreement on security of Kabul airport
Suhail Shaheen said, ‘We do not interfere in anyone else’s case and do not allow anyone to interfere in our matter. If the Turkish administration does not reconsider its attitude, the Taliban and the Afghan people will stand firm against it. Earlier there were reports that Turkey and the US have reached an agreement to handle the security of Kabul airport.
Not only this, Afghan Civil Aviation had said that a new defense system has been installed at Hamid Karzai Airport to give a befitting reply to Taliban attacks. Earlier, Turkey had proposed to deploy a joint mission of Pakistan and Hungary for the security of Kabul airport after the withdrawal of foreign forces. The Turkish President said that if America wants us to take care of the security of Kabul Airport, then we will have to provide diplomatic, material and financial help to it.
Turkish President Erdogan has a hidden ambition
In fact, Turkey itself has taken the responsibility of handling the security of the international airport of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Behind this lies an ambition of Turkish President Erdogan. Actually, Turkey is facing a bad situation on the economic front. Not only this, the law and order situation is also very bad. In such a situation, Erdogan is trying to present a success story to the Turkish people.
That’s why Erdogan wants to stay in Afghanistan. Erdogan had also sought help from friend Pakistan for this mission. The chief of the Turkish army had also come to Pakistan recently. He had sought Pakistan’s help in Afghanistan, but now Turkey has suffered a major setback due to Suhail Shaheen’s statement. Shaheen has also dealt a blow to Pakistan. Tehreek-e-Taliban Afghanistan spokesman has bluntly said that Pakistan cannot run dictatorship or impose its views on their organization. At the same time, Shaheen has expressed the expectation of India to be impartial in this matter and appealed to the people of Afghanistan and not to ‘an imposed government’.
