Srinivas Patil raised issues related to national highways, Gadkari promised to complete the work
During Question Hour in the Lok Sabha, MP Srinivas Patil raised issues related to National Highways in Satara Lok Sabha constituency. In this, considering the accident incident at Pargaon, he demanded to undertake the work of a new bridge there. He also said that lighting should be provided at all underbridges and overbridges to prevent accidents. There is a three-lane bridge at Kolhapur Naka in Karad. Accidents are on the rise there. It was suggested that a six-lane bridge be built here. The condition of the highway from Pune to Shendre has deteriorated. He hoped that the government would pay attention to repairing the road and demanded that the tunnels at Khambhatki be completed soon. Replying to this, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkariji said that most of the problems on the Pune-Satara highway have been resolved and the rest will be completed soon. If there is an accident area in the vicinity of the bridge at Karad, it is suggested to apply immediately. Gadkari promised to do his utmost to remove such accident prone areas to avoid loss of life in the accident.
