Sita to Ram .. Vaya Ravana Hanuman! BJP has included ‘Ramayana’!
Ramayana .. & nbsp; This was the period of 1988-89. At that time, Ramayana used to be aired on television. The series used to get wet when the series came on TV. The shop is said to be open after the series. Today’s generation has not seen that time. But the past and the previous generation were telling the stories of the Ramayana series. The television series took the storm by storm. In the 80’s this series was famous. But the lockdown in 2020 showed that the Garuda of this series is still on the people of India. The series took Doordarshan out of its abyss during the lockdown and plunged the entire country into nostalgia. Once again Lord Shriram, Hanuman, Laxman, Sita, Ravana etc. appeared on TV. These were the same personalities who were loved by the whole of India about 30 years ago.
With this lockdown, Arun Govil, who played the role of Rama, came to light once again. Govil had gained popularity when Ramayana was first published. But there were no social media or channels at that time. So that popularity was not reaching others. Or others could not connect with them. Now the series came out in 2020 and Arun Govil once again appeared on social media. Never before has his fan following increased so much. The grip of Shri Rama’s personality in Ramayana can still be seen on him today. People still look for Lord Rama in them. & Nbsp;
Seeing Govil’s popularity and the image of his lord Shri Ram, which is deeply rooted in the minds of the people, now the Bharatiya Janata Party has taken him in its side. Govil recently joined the BJP. Even though Ram has now joined the BJP in the Ramayana on Doordarshan, history tells us that the BJP has drawn the same personalities from the Ramayana into politics. On the one hand, BJP has undertaken the construction of Shri Ram’s temple in Ayodhya. On the other hand, Arun Govil, who got the image of Rama, has also joined the BJP. Surprisingly, the party did not take advantage of his popularity. & Nbsp;
Anyway, the BJP has always included in its ranks the artists who have made a name for themselves in mythological series. Even though Ram from TV’s Ramayana has now joined the BJP, the BJP had earlier swept Sita, Ravana and Hanuman on the red carpet. Immediately after Ramayana came and went, BJP gave MP from Baroda to Deepika who had replaced Sita. It was 1991. The BJP also sent Arvind Trivedi, who later played the role of Ravana in the Ramayana, to the Lok Sabha. Thus Sita and Ravana entered politics. Not only that, actor Malla Dara Singh, who became immortal in 1998 by playing the role of Hanuman in the same Ramayana, also joined the BJP. He later joined the Rajya Sabha as an MP in 2003. & nbsp;
Thus long ago in the Ramayana, Ravana, Sita, Hanuman preferred to join the BJP. Now, on the one hand, the construction work of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is in full swing. On the other hand, the election atmosphere in West Bengal is heating up. The BJP has a long-standing desire to take on the legends of the legendary series. That is why he had given a ticket to Rupa Ganguly, who played Draupadi in the Mahabharata. Of course, the part where Ganguly fell on that ticket is different. Now Arun Govil, who is resting in his mind in the form of Lord Rama, only stops by joining the BJP and goes to the Rajya Sabha or the Lok Sabha.
