Schools for young children are once again opening in Maharashtra. After the corona transition period, studies in schools had not yet started. Schools were kept closed in view of the threat of a possible third wave of corona in Maharashtra, which is the most affected state due to Corona. After about 20 months, now classes will start in schools.
After the first wave of Kovid-19, schools were closed in March 2020 in view of the infection. Now after the vaccination campaign has intensified and the rate of infection has come down, now it has been decided to start the education of children in schools. State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced that the decision to open the school has been taken after discussions with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, the cabinet and the Pediatrics Task Force.
Minister Varsha Gaikwad informed that the state cabinet has decided to reopen schools for classes 1-4 in rural areas and 1-7 in urban areas from December 1. He said that we are committed to the safe resumption of classes in schools. Classes will be organized in schools with all safety measures.
