SBI gave Rs 22.87 lakh to Delhiā€™s RML hospital for health facilities

New Delhi, Jul 23 (PTI) State Bank of India (SBI) on Friday donated Rs 22.87 lakh to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital as an aid. The bank has given this help with the aim of strengthening the fight against Kovid-19 and for the betterment of health facilities.

The bank has also given an ambulance to the government hospital as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

SBI Managing Director CS Shetty handed over a check of Rs 22,83,207 to Rana AK Singh, Medical Superintendent of RML Hospital. During this, Chief General Manager of the bank Vijay Ranjan and Chief General Manager Amitabh Chatterjee were also present.

SBI has made a provision of Rs 71 crore for cooperation in dealing with the Kovid 19 epidemic. Out of this, Rs 30 crore has been allocated for the construction of a temporary hospital.
