A Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker was murdered in Kerala’s Palakkad on Monday morning. 27-year-old Sanjeet was stabbed to death in front of his wife. The incident happened when he was on his way to drop his wife to her office. Police reached the information and sent the body for postmortem. All BJP and RSS leaders reached the spot.

The incident took place in Mambaram area. Police said the role of activists of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), the political wing of the Islamic organization Popular Front of India (PFI), behind Sanjeet’s murder is suspected. He said that investigation has been started to trace the accused who fled from the spot after the incident.

It is being told that Sanjeet was going to his office with his wife. The BJP alleged that the attackers chased Sanjeet, a resident of Elappally, in a vehicle. During this, the car riders hit Sanjeet’s two-wheeler. He fell on the ground and then Sanjeet was attacked with a knife.

BJP alleges
Condemning the killing of the RSS worker, BJP state president K Surendran alleged that it was a planned murder. He blamed the failure of the police and the state government for such incidents taking place in the state.

According to police sources, more than 50 wounds have been found on Sanjeet’s body. He was brutally murdered. In view of the tension situation in the area, police force has been deployed.
