RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav appears in special CBI court in Patna for illegal withdrawal of Rs 46 lakh from Bhagalpur and Banka treasury in fodder scam case. The court has fixed November 30 as the next date for hearing the matter.
Lalu Yadav’s physical presence is not mandatory
The special CBI court in Patna will now hear on November 30 the illegal withdrawal of Rs 46 lakh from Bhagalpur and Banka Treasuries in the fodder scam case. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s advocate Prabhat Kumar told that it is not mandatory for Lalu Prasad Yadav to appear in the court in the next appearance. He told that the judge has been appointed in this case after three years. Therefore, all the accused were ordered by the court to be present physically. So that the court can know how many accused are present in the case.

Prabhat Kumar, advocate of Lalu Prasad Yadav, convicted in the fodder scam case and released on bail, said that on Tuesday, three accused, including Lalu Prasad Yadav, appeared physically in the special CBI court in Patna. He said that the advocates of three other accused produced their death certificates before the court. Let us inform that apart from Lalu Yadav, 28 other accused were asked to come to the court in the case. RJD supremo’s advocate Prabhat Kumar also told that, since the advocates went on strike in the Patna Court of Justice on Tuesday. Hence, the matter could not be heard. He also told that probably Lalu Prasad Yadav can leave for Delhi tomorrow i.e. on Wednesday.
It is noteworthy that in the fodder scam case, illegal withdrawal of Rs 46 lakh was made from the sub-treasury of Bhagalpur and Banka districts with the help of fake bills. On November 16, the court had ordered Lalu Prasad Yadav to appear in the court in the same case, along with 28 other accused in the case. Let us inform that in the fodder scam in Bihar, Rs 950 crore was withdrawn from the government treasury by fraud. Many people are accused in the illegal withdrawal from the government treasury, out of which many of the accused have also passed away. At that time, when Lalu Prasad Yadav was the Chief Minister, there was an allegation of fodder scam, due to which he had to resign from his post. After resigning from the post of Chief Minister, Lalu Yadav made his wife Rabri Devi as the Chief Minister of Bihar.
