pushkar singh dhami grih pravesh news: dhami entered the chief minister’s residence after due worship
- Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister’s residence is considered to be wretched
- Pushkar Singh Dhami entered the house amidst chants
- Many CMs could not complete their tenure by staying here
Putting aside the ‘wisdom’, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami entered the Chief Minister’s residence on New Cantt Road on the first Monday of Sawan after the ritualistic worship. The official residence of the Chief Minister, built a decade ago, is considered ‘wretched’ for the Chief Ministers living there as none of the Chief Ministers living there could complete their term. From Vijay Bahuguna to Trivendra Singh Rawat, who lived here, no Chief Minister could complete his term and he left the post prematurely.
Dhami first offered prayers at the Shiva temple located in the Chief Minister’s residence complex and took blessings from the Gomata at the Gaushala. After that, after worshiping with his family according to the law, he entered the house. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, ‘I always believe in living in the present. I have never worried about the past, nor have I ever atone for it. Nor will I worry about what will happen in the future.
‘Mantras were chanted before home entry’
CM Dhami said that so many resources of our government are invested in it and if he is made for the head or chief servant of the state, then he should definitely stay there. Before entering the house, its Vastu defect was also resolved. The pundits who performed the puja at the Chief Minister’s residence said that there is a lot of power in the mantras and if there is a Vastu defect at any place, it can be corrected through mantras and worship. Governor Babyrani Maurya and State BJP President Madan Kaushik congratulated Dhami on his entry into the official residence.
Many leaders including the governor congratulated
The Governor met the Chief Minister and wished him on the occasion while Kaushik also congratulated him. However, it is also interesting to know that former Chief Ministers Harish Rawat and Tirath Singh Rawat, who refrained from staying in the Chief Minister’s residence, also did not stay in office for long. Harish Rawat was voted out of power in the 2017 assembly elections. Tirath Singh Rawat, who became the Chief Minister in March this year, instead of staying in the Chief Minister’s residence, announced to prepare it as a Kovid Care Center. But even before its completion, he left the post after being in office for less than four months.
