India has been a great help to Bangladesh even during the Corona crisis. India has given 90 lakh doses of corona vaccine to Bangladesh. This help is more than any other country. During Modi’s visit, the train service between Jalpaiguri in West Bengal and Dhaka in Bangladesh will be given the green light.

Last year, Modi had a virtual meeting with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The tour was announced at the time. In January 2021, Bangladesh’s Foreign Secretary Masood bin Momen visited India. Later, Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar visited Bangladesh.
