Prachanda-Madhav group discussions with the civic leaders to issue a white paper after tomorrow’s demonstration.
The CPN Prachanda-Madhav group is preparing to issue a white paper after Wednesday’s demonstration. A group protesting against the dissolution of parliament is preparing to issue a white paper for a joint movement.
“We are holding discussions with the civic leaders to issue a white paper after tomorrow’s demonstration,” said Vishnu Rijal. According to him, the issues to be mentioned in the white paper will be prepared on the suggestion of the civic leaders.
Citizen leaders have been saying that they will not trust Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli until the day the parliament is dissolved.
Therefore, this group is especially keen to issue a white paper to take with the civil society. During the 2nd phase of the movement, 23 December the group interacted with civil society. During the interaction, Krishna Pahadi, Daman Nath Dhungana and others said that the people would not support the movement until the white paper was issued.
Former Speaker Dhungana had said that the entire CPN (Maoist) Prachanda-Madhav group was responsible for the current situation. He pointed out the need for a white paper to make it clear that the movement was not just for office.
In a program organized at Pragya Bhawan on January 20, in front of Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal, journalist and writer Narayan Wagle had said that the civil society would not believe until the white paper was issued.
Prachanda and Nepal have been apologizing for their mistake following the suggestions of the civil society involved in the street agitation against the dissolution of the parliament. However, the group is preparing to issue a white paper to resolve the apology.
