The Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported that 37% of the target population for COVID-19 vaccination in Peru has already received two doses that prevent severe cases and death from the novel coronavirus.
So far, 25,683,070 doses of the vaccine have been administered in Peru. Of that total, 15,429,279 were administered as the first dose, while 10,253,791 were administered as the second dose.
“This figure is 37 per cent of the target population,” Minsa said in its daily report.

According to MINSA, the target population in Peru consists of men and women over the age of 12, which is 28,024,250 people.
