Most business leaders to take a more flexible approach after pandemic: study

New Delhi, Oct 28 (PTI) Post-pandemic most business leaders in India are feeling pressure to offer more flexibility and are actively formulating new workplace policies, a LinkedIn study said. It gives more convenience to the employees about how they work and where they work.

According to a LinkedIn ‘Future of Work’ study, 80 per cent of business leaders in India are feeling the pressure to take a more resilient approach after the pandemic, and employees, managers and the government are the three major contributors to this pressure.

A LinkedIn study by research firm GfK asked 736 business leaders in India about the future of work, the flexibility they offer, the challenges ahead and their plans to solve them.

Ashutosh Gupta, Regional Manager, India, LinkedIn, said, “Flexibility has emerged as a top priority in the new world of work, and business leaders see this as an opportunity to hire more diverse talent and improve business performance. Huh.”

Gupta said about nine out of 10 leaders in India have taken the help of experts to formulate workplace policies.
