Minsa reports 569 confirmed cases and 8 deaths from covid-19 in 24 hours | News
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported 569 new confirmed cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours tonight and registered, at the same time, 8 deaths from this disease throughout the country.
In its daily report on the evolution of the pandemic, the health authority explained that, to date, the total of confirmed cases of covid-19 reached 2 million 174,219, counted since March 6, 2020.
Symptoms of the day
“During On September 27, the results of 35,156 people sampled were recorded, of which 569 were confirmed symptomatic cases of that day ”, added the Minsa.
In addition, the results of 865 confirmed cases of covid-19 from the previous seven days were partially recorded.
Hospitalized and recovered
Regarding hospitalizations, the Health sector specified that to date there are 3,796 patients hospitalized for covid-19 in the various public and private health establishments.
With a vaccination process that until today has covered 37% of the target population with the two doses that protect against severe cases and death from covid-19, the Minsa added that to date 2 million 150,396 people have overcome the disease.
In addition, in the last 24 hours, 84 hospital discharges were reported, published the Minsa.
Deaths due to covid-19
With the 8 deaths in the last 24 hours and the update of victims from previous days, the Minsa reported tonight that the covid-19 “has produced the death of 199,329 citizens in the country”, Since March of the previous year.
“We express our heartfelt condolences to the family members at this time of pain,” added the Ministry of Health.
