milind deora increases congress tension: milind deora increases congress trouble by praising gujarat model is milind deora’s number after jitin? Congress’s troubles increased by praising Gujarat model
- After Jitin Prasada, Milind Deora increased the trouble of Congress
- Deora praised the work of Gujarat government on Twitter
- Speculation of displeasure of many young leaders of Congress got wind
After spending 20 years in the Congress party, former Union Minister Jitin Prasada finally joined the BJP on Wednesday. Prasad, who was the Congress state in-charge during the recent West Bengal assembly elections, was seen as a young Brahmin leader of the Congress in Uttar Pradesh. Prasad’s departure has once again given air to the displeasure of many young leaders in the Congress and speculations of switching sides. Sachin Pilot and Milind Deora are among the leaders whose displeasure is being discussed these days. Meanwhile, Milind Deora has increased the concern of the Congress by praising the work of the Gujarat government.
In fact, hotel industry, restaurants, resorts and water parks have been badly affected in Gujarat for the last one year due to the Corona epidemic. In view of the economic loss, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has decided to waive his property tax and electricity bill for the last one year. Congress leader Milind Deora shared this news on his Twitter account and praised the Gujarat government. He has written- ‘A welcome step for other states to emulate. If we want to prevent further loss of jobs in India’s hospitality sector then all states should intervene immediately.
‘I wish our comrades had not left together’
On the other hand, Milind Deora has also reacted to his former colleague Jitin Prasada’s joining BJP. He wrote on Twitter- ‘I believe that Congress should make efforts to regain its old position. As a big party of the country, it can and should do this. We still have leaders who, if empowered and used well, can deliver results. I just wish that many of my friends, respected colleagues and valued colleagues had not left our side.
Congress’s youth brigade is cracking
Significantly, Milind Deora, Jitin Prasad, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Sachin Pilot were once considered the youth brigade of Congress. He had also worked in the previous Congress government at the Centre. Scindia and Prasad are now in the BJP, while Pilot and Deora seem to be upset over some issues in the party and have repeatedly demanded reforms. Jitin Prasada was among 23 leaders who wrote to party president Sonia Gandhi last year demanding active leadership and organizational elections in the Congress.
