Most of the 45 people included in the ‘IIFL Wealth-Hurun India 40 and Under Self-Made Rich List 2021’ are startup entrepreneurs. The wealth of each is estimated at over Rs 1,000 crore.
According to the list, both Browserstack co-founders Nakul Agarwal (38) and Ritesh Arora (37) are on the second spot with a net worth of Rs 12,400 crore. This year 31 new entrepreneurs have joined the list.
Palo Alto’s Confluent’s Neha Narkhede and family is on the fourth spot with a net worth of Rs 12,200 crore. Ola’s Bhavish Agarwal is also on this list. His net worth more than doubled to Rs 7,500 crore by September 15 this year. He is ranked ninth on the list. Flipkart co-founders Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal top the list with Agarwal.
Bangalore is called the Silicon Valley of India. Of the 45 names in the list, 42 come from here. Talking about various sectors, the software and services sector contributes the most in the list. It is followed by transportation and logistics, entertainment and financial services respectively.
