MakeMyTrip to partner with ministry of civil aviation to promote regional air connectivity

New Delhi, Nov 22 (PTI) Online travel services firm MakeMyTrip on Monday said it will partner with the civil aviation ministry to promote regional air connectivity through the UDAN scheme.

The company said in a statement that MakeMyTrip will now prominently display the flights related to the UDAN scheme on the AirSewa portal.

MakeMyTrip will also do offline marketing of UDAN through its large network of franchisee retail outlets for offline bookings.

Deep Kalra, Founder and Executive Chairman, MakeMyTrip said, “UDAN is a first of its kind scheme globally and has contributed immensely to the growth of the domestic aviation market. We are privileged to work closely with the government to promote regional air connectivity through online and offline channels.
