Fasting method and ritual

On the day of Mahashivaratri, fasting, worship and awakening are the three limbs. It is believed that four guards should perform four poojas on Shivratri at night. They are called ‘Yampuja’. Abhyangsnan should be performed in every Yampuja. Bells, white flowers and Rudraksha garlands should be flown on Shalunka and Shivapindi. Dhotra and Mango leaves also flow in this puja. He should make 26 lamps of rice flour and wave them to Lord Shiva. At the end of the puja, 108 lamps should be donated. The mantras of each pooja are different. Awakening in Shivsmarana with Om Nama: Shivaya. Take a bath in the morning and do pooja again. Shivapindi is bathed with cold water, milk or Panchamrut. Turmeric-kumkum is not used in Shiva worship; Use ashes. White Akshata is used in Shiva worship. Rice, rarely wheat and white flowers flow to Shivaksha. They make a crescent-shaped circumnavigation of Shivapindi without a complete circumnavigation.

The fourteenth date will start on March 11 from 02:39 PM to March 12 at 03:02 PM. March 12 Shivratri fasting time will be from 06:34 AM to 03:02 PM.
