Created new health infrastructure in the last quarter year

Research continues on nasal vaccine
He told that research is also being done on nasal vaccine. Due to this, the vaccine will be sprayed in the nose instead of syringe. If the test is successful, then the campaign of vaccination will accelerate further.
Attack on Congress in closed words
Modi also attacked the previous Congress governments in closed words. The PM said that the vaccine is like a protective shield for us in the fight against Corona. If we did not have a vaccine today, what would be the condition of a huge country like India? Many decades ago, it used to take decades for India to get the vaccine from abroad. India today launched ‘Made in India’ vaccine within a year.
More than 23 crore vaccine doses
The PM said that so far more than 23 crore vaccine doses have been given in the country. The supply of corona vaccine is going to increase in the coming days. There are 7 different companies producing the vaccine in the country. Trial of other 3 vaccines is also going on. Trial of two vaccines for children is also going on.
Central government will do free vaccination
The PM said that the government has decided that the Government of India will also bear the responsibility of 25 percent of the work related to vaccination that the states had. This arrangement will be implemented in the coming 2 weeks. In these 2 weeks, the central and state governments together will make necessary preparations according to the new guideline. From June 21, the Government of India will provide free vaccine to the states for all citizens above 18 years of age in every state of the country.

The PM said that the Government of India itself will buy 75 percent of the total vaccine production from vaccine manufacturers and give it free to the state governments. No state government of the country will have to spend anything on the vaccine. This announcement has come at a time when many states are talking about the shortage of vaccine in their respective states. For this they are blaming the central government.
Private hospitals will be able to buy 25% vaccine
At present, 25 percent of the vaccine being made in the country can be bought directly by private hospitals. This arrangement will continue in future also. Such hospitals will be able to charge a maximum service charge of Rs 150 for a single dose over and above the fixed price of the vaccine. The task of monitoring it will remain with the state governments.
PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will continue till Diwali
The PM said that the government has decided that the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will now be carried forward till Diwali. Under this scheme, by November, more than 80 crore countrymen will get free food grains in fixed quantity every month. Under this scheme, the central government provided 5 kg additional food grains (rice/wheat) per person free of cost to the ration card holders in the months of May and June. This plan was announced during the lockdown in March during the first wave of Corona last year.
