Lima Stock Exchange begins session with mixed indicators | News

The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) shows mixed indicators at the beginning of today’s session, given the rise in industrial, electricity, services, construction and consumer shares, and the decline in mining and financial papers, amidst the mixed performance of regional markets.

The General Index of the Lima Stock Exchange (BVL), the most representative of the local stock market, fell 0.30%, going from 18,458 to 18,403 points.

The Selective Index of the Lima stock market, which is made up of the 15 most traded shares in the market, advances 0.07%, going from 485.98 to 486.3 points.

Asian stock markets had mixed behaviors at the close, as did the results shown by the main Latin American markets and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) at the moment.

The Dow Jones industrial index of the New York Stock Exchange and the Standard & Poor’s index fell 0.41% and 0.14%, respectively; while the Nasdaq technological indicator rises 0.38%.
