Latest Cricket News In Hindi Pakistan fast bowler Wahab Riaz planning to retire after World Cup 2023

Pakistan’s left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz is planning to retire from international cricket after the 2023 ODI World Cup in India. The 36-year-old pacer has played 27 Tests, 91 ODIs and 36 T20 Internationals so far but has not been a regular member of the Pakistan team for quite some time and was not even selected in the T20 World Cup squad.

Wahab said in an interview, ‘Everybody has to say goodbye to cricket one day. If I stay fit and keep my passion for the game going, then my aim is to continue playing till the 2023 World Cup. I will definitely keep playing if I keep doing well.

He said, ‘I think I still have two or three years of cricket left in me.’

Wahab said, ‘I have been in and out of the national team for some time now, but I have also been playing and doing well in domestic cricket and various leagues including Pakistan Super League.’
