- Told the decision to withdraw the agriculture law, the real power of the common man
In his address to the nation on behalf of PM Narendra Modi, it was announced to take the decision to withdraw all the three agricultural laws brought last year. After this it is being projected as a victory for the farmers. At the same time, the opposition parties are surrounding Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government regarding this matter. Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has termed it as an embarrassment for the central government.
Hours after the central government’s announcement to repeal the controversial three agriculture laws, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray advised the central government to take other parties into confidence to avoid such embarrassment in future. PM Modi has announced that all three agriculture laws will be repealed in the upcoming session of Parliament. Its legal process will be completed.
Decision shows the power of common man
Welcoming the decision of the Centre, CM Thackeray said that the announcement of abrogation of three agricultural laws underscores the power of the common man in the country. The central government should hold talks and take other parties into confidence to avoid embarrassment like today. He said that we are hopeful that the actual process of withdrawing the three agriculture laws will be completed soon.
There is displeasure over the laws in the whole country
The Chief Minister said that there is resentment in the whole country against the agricultural laws. The agitation is going on and the protesting farmers are still on the borders of Delhi. Many farmers lost their lives in this movement. Even the Maha Vikas Aghadi government of the state objected to the agricultural laws. He said that these laws, their provisions and possible problems were discussed in detail during the sessions of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. I welcome the decision of the Central Government to withdraw these laws in reality in the coming times.
