Bollywood’s gossipy actress Kangana Ranaut has once again got into trouble due to her rhetoric. The government of ‘Aam Aadmi Party’ of Delhi has issued a summons to Kangana Ranaut. The case pertains to social media posts allegedly ‘spreading hatred’ for the Sikh community during the peasant movement. Kangana used the term ‘Khalistani Andolan’ for the protesting Sikh farmers. In such a situation, the Delhi Assembly’s Committee on Peace and Harmony has called Kangana for questioning. This committee is being chaired by ‘Aap’ MLA Raghav Chadha.

According to the news agency ‘ANI’, Kangana Ranaut has been summoned to appear before the committee on December 6 at 12:00 noon. Earlier, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee had also lodged a complaint with the police against Kangana for allegedly making offensive remarks against the Sikh community on Instagram.

What Kangana wrote in the post
Kangana Ranaut wrote in her controversial post on Instagram, “Khalistani terrorists are trying to twist the arms of a good government today. But don’t forget that one woman. The only woman Prime Minister had crushed these under her shoes. No matter how much they hurt this country … they crushed them like mosquitoes at the cost of their lives … but did not allow the country to fall apart. Even today, decades after his death, they still tremble at his name, they just need a guru. ‘

The statement from Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Samiti also states that Kangana deliberately posted to hurt the feelings of the Sikh community and shared it with criminal intent. Kangana Ranaut has in the past been accused of making objectionable remarks against ‘the country got independence’ and ‘Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi’. Kangana had claimed that Subhash Chandra Bose and Bhagat Singh did not get support from Mahatma Gandhi. Making fun of Mahatma Gandhi’s teaching of non-violence, Kangana said that after slapping on one cheek, when the other cheek is pushed forward, ‘begging’ is given, not freedom.
