New Delhi, Jun 11 (PTI) Construction equipment maker JCB India will provide educational assistance to the children of its employees who lost their lives due to COVID-19.

Apart from this, life insurance for ten years will also be given to the families of the employees as a relief package, the company said in a statement on Friday.

JCB said that under this relief operation, the company will provide Rs 1 lakh each for school education, and Rs 2 lakh per year for undergraduate education for three years to the children of employees who lost their lives due to Kovid-19.

Deepak Shetty, Chief Executive Chairman and Managing Director, JCB India said, “The last few weeks have been a lot to learn. All of the Institute’s resources are devoted to supporting the health and safety of our employees and their families.”

He said that unfortunately in this difficult period, we have also lost some of our employees due to Kovid. We are fully committed to helping their families through the relief package.
