Indian Railway | Mobiles, laptops cannot be charged on the train at night; Big decision of railway administration

New Delhi: Indian Railways has taken a big decision to stop train fires. If you are traveling by train, you will not be able to use the mobile charging port on the train between 11pm and 5am. The electricity connecting to it will be cut off at this time. Such a decision has been taken by Indian Railways. As a result, mobiles and laptops will no longer be charged on trains at night.

Western Division begins
The decision was announced by senior railway officials on Tuesday. Earlier, the Western Railway had decided to cut off power to the railway charging port from March 16 from 11 pm to 5 am. Sumit Thakur, chief public relations officer, Western Railway, told PTI that the Railway Board has given such instructions to all departments. The Western Division has been implementing it since March 16. & nbsp;

An earlier recommendation
The Railway Board has already taken some important decisions to stop fires in trains. “The decision by the Railway Board is nothing new,” B Gugneson, chief public relations officer for the South, told PTI. This already decided decision is only now being implemented. In 2014, a fire broke out on the Bangalore-Huzur Sahib Nanded Express. At that time, the Railway Board’s safety commissioner had recommended that the mobile charging port on the train be kept closed from 11 pm to 5 am. It is being implemented now and the Railway Board has now ordered all the departments to do so. & Nbsp;
