IND vs ENG Shreyas Iyer out of England Series will undergo surgery may miss IPL season
IND vs ENG 2nd ODI: Before the second ODI against England, Team India has suffered a major blow. Leading Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of the first match with a shoulder injury. The BCCI informed about this on Thursday. Shreyas was injured in the eighth over when England’s Johnny Bairstow blocked Shardul Thakur’s delivery. So he had to leave the field. Shreyas was then rushed to the hospital.
According to reports, Shreyas will be away from cricket for a few days. Iyer could be replaced by Rishabh Pant or Suryakumar Yadav in the second ODI. Shreyas tweeted that he will be back soon. Shreyas Iyer tweeted, “I am reading your message. I am overwhelmed by your love. Thank you all. “I’ll be back soon,” he said.

India’s 1-0 lead in the series India have taken a 1-0 lead in the series by winning the first match of the three-match ODI series against England. Batting first in the first ODI at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium, the Indian team had challenged England for 318 runs. All of England’s players returned to the tent for 251 to score 318 runs. Famous Krishna had managed to take 4 wickets for 54 runs in his debut match.
