Government committed to improve ease of doing business vice president policy

Mumbai, Nov 25 (PTI) NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Rajiv Kumar on Thursday said the government is committed to improving the ease of doing business in the country.

“It is now one of the commitments of this government to improve ease of doing business and solve problems at the grassroots level,” Kumar said at an event of Swadeshi Jagran Manch.

He said the Prime Minister, while addressing the nation on August 15, had said that the government wants to reduce the regulatory and compliance burden on companies.

According to Kumar, unfortunately, there are 67,000 compliance burdens at the Centre, states and municipalities. He said that out of these 1,200 regulations have been removed and others are being looked into.

NITI Aayog Vice Chairman said, “Our aim is to facilitate the working environment of our industries and improve the living conditions of the common people. We are committed to it and will achieve it.
