Along with this, Microsoft has also released the ISO of the final build of Windows 11 on the Windows Insider website. So now the users who want to clean install Windows 11 operating system on their PC can also download the ISO file by visiting the website.
To get the Windows 11 Preview build before the official launch, keep in mind that you must have a system that supports Windows 11. You can check your system’s compatibility by downloading the Microsoft PC Health Check app.
Follow these steps to get Windows 11 Preview build in Windows 11 compatible PC:
1. Enroll in the Windows Insider Program.
To enroll, go to Windows 10 Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Insider Program
2. Now click on Get Started and link the account with which you are using Windows 10.
3. Select Channel when Windows 10 prompts, then select Release Preview Channel and confirm.
4. Restart your channel.
5. Once the system starts, go to Settings -> then click on Update & Security. After this you will see a new banner of Windows 11 Update.
6. Select the Download and Install option, follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows 11.
7. Once Windows 11 is installed, go to Settings -> Select Update & Security again, and then select “Stop Getting Updates”.
This step is not necessary, but it will prevent you from getting further updates for Windows Insider update or the final build of Windows 11. But you will continue to get regular updates of Windows.
To do a clean install of Windows 11:
Download the ISO file and create a bootable USB using Microsoft Media Creation Tool or third-party software like Rufus.
Restart the system, insert the USB drive and select boot from USB in the BIOS settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
