This fake message comes with the label Forwarded Many Times and claims that WhatsApp has implemented these new communication rules after the new IT rules came into force on 26 May. The fake message also claimed that the devices of all WhatsApp users would be connected to the Ministry system. For this, a new tick system has been implemented which will allow users to find out whether the government is monitoring their messages or not.
Let us tell you that WhatsApp has not launched any such feature or system. The tick system that was on the company’s platform will remain the same. A tick means the message is gone. Two ticks means the message has been delivered. Two blue ticks means the message receiver has read.
