In view of the growing contagion of corona, the central government has taken a major decision regarding vaccination. From May 1, everyone over the age of 18 will be eligible for vaccination. This will be the third phase of vaccination. The first phase of vaccination involved health workers, frontline workers and citizens over 60 years of age. In the second phase, it was decided to vaccinate all those above 45 years of age.
Congress leader Surjewala had claimed that after deciding to vaccinate everyone above the age of 18, the cost of the vaccine would now be decided by private companies and not the government. Therefore, the vaccine will no longer be free but will be given to the people at maximum cost.
