Copper futures fall on weak spot demand

New Delhi, Nov 15 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell 0.4 per cent to Rs 742 per kg in futures market as participants reduced their positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in November fell by Rs 1.40, or 0.4 per cent, to Rs 742 per kg in 5,161 lots.

Market analysts said offloading of positions by speculators on subdued demand in the spot market, mainly led to the fall in copper futures prices.
