Vandana Singh’s family is related to politics
Vandana Singh has an old relationship with politics. Apart from Vandana Singh’s husband, her father-in-law Rampyare Singh was active in politics locally in Azamgarh. Rampyare Singh was the block chief in Azamgarh. In the year 2002, he contested from Sagdi on Samajwadi Party ticket. However, at that time he had to face defeat from the BSP candidate. Later he was made MLC by Samajwadi Party. Rampyare Singh was also the Environment Minister in the UP government. After Rampyare Singh’s death in 2005, his son Sarvesh Singh carried on his father’s political legacy.
