New Delhi
Suryakumar Yadav, the shining star of Indian cricket, turned 31 today. Born on 14 September 1990 in Mumbai, Suryakumar is originally from Uttar Pradesh. Due to the job of an engineer in Bhabha Atomic Resource Center, his father along with his family had come to Mumbai from Varanasi. The dream that Surya saw while playing street cricket, is fulfilling it by joining Team India today.

journey was not easy
Suryakumar Yadav had thought in his childhood that he would become a cricketer. The family members also gave full support. From schooling to early training, keeping the career in mind. Later he took admission in Vengsarkar Academy. He continued to perform well in domestic cricket. The selectors do not pay attention, yet did not give up the hard work. After nearly 10 years in domestic cricket and scoring a mountain of runs in the IPL, he got a chance to make his debut against England.

Surya will not be able to celebrate
This right-handed batsman has also got a place in the World T20 squad. After the debut, Suryakumar Yadav, who was a part of the team continuously in the white ball format, was also called on the tour of England. But there was no chance to play a single test match. He is currently in isolation along with his Mumbai Indians teammates Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah in the IPL. This is the reason why he will not even be able to celebrate his birthday this time. With Chennai Super Kings, the team has to play the first match of the second stage on 19 September.
