Bihar student studying in China dies in suspicious condition, investigation underway, preparations to bring dead body to India – Indian student found dead in china
A 20-year-old Indian student studying at a university in China’s Tianjin city was found dead in his room. The cause of his death is yet to be ascertained. Local officials of China gave this information on Monday. Aman Nagsen, a resident of Gaya district of Bihar, was a student of business administration at Tianjin Foreign Studies University.
He was found dead in his room on July 29. The cause of Aman’s death is being investigated. Aman was one of the few Indian students who remained in China during the COVID-19 pandemic, while around 23,000 Indian students could not return to China due to visa restrictions. The Indian Embassy and his family have been informed about Aman’s death. Preparations are being made to bring his dead body home.
According to Hindustan Times, Nagsen last spoke to his family on 23 July. Since then, he has not been answering calls or messages. They were not even accepting the transfer of money. Last week his family spoke to Aman’s local guardian who contacted the university administration and started a search.
Aman’s family had appealed to the Government of India to bring his dead body back to the country through the Ministry of External Affairs. He had sought help from the governments of both India and China for this. It has been told that Aman’s health was very good and he did not have any major disease. In this case, investigation has been called for.
