Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel will get the cleanliness award at the hands of President Ram Nath Kovind. He will get this award because of keeping Chhattisgarh in the category of cleanest states of India. President Ram Nath Kovind will hand over these awards to Bhupesh Baghel at the Swachh Amrit Mahotsav to be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on November 20, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of independence.

The state of Chhattisgarh has performed best in the field of cleanliness while maintaining its status as the cleanest state in the country. Chhattisgarh will not only be rewarded as a state, but 61 urban bodies will also be rewarded for its excellent performance. Chhattisgarh will be the state whose highest number of bodies are being rewarded. Chhattisgarh stands at number one position in cleanliness for the third time in a row.
