Batch of 163,200 doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine reaches Peru News | mcezone

The first batch of 163,200 COVID-19 vaccine doses from the AstraZeneca laboratory arrived in Peru on Saturday night, through a bilateral agreement signed by the Ministry of Health (MinSA).

“Peru has significant experience in the management and delivery of this vaccine,” Rossel said in reference to the AstraZeneca dosage, which was delivered through the COVAX facility on previous occasions.

According to the Ministry of Health, 25,203,454 doses have been given in Peru so far.

Of these, 15,206,107 were given the first dose and 9,997,347 were given the second dose.
