Aluminum futures fall on weak demand

Aluminum futures fall on weak demand

New Delhi, Jun 10 (PTI) Aluminum prices on Thursday fell 30 paise to Rs 191.70 per kg in futures trade as participants offloaded their positions due to a weak trend at the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminum for contracts for delivery in June fell by 30 paise, or 0.16 per cent, to Rs 191.70 per kg. The deals were done for 2,253 lots.

Market analysts said offloading of positions by participants due to subdued demand from consuming industries at the spot market, mainly led to the fall in aluminum prices at futures trade.
