Airtel has also changed its retail postpaid plan with an aim to increase its average income. This step has been taken at a time when telcos are facing difficulties in increasing their income through mobile data and calling.
Bharti Airtel said that its postpaid plan will now start from Rs 299 and 30 GB internet will be given, whereas earlier 10 GB internet was given.
Bharti Airtel’s mobile services average revenue declined 5.8 per cent to Rs 145 crore in the January-March quarter of FY21. Which was Rs 154 crore in the same period a year ago.
